- You will also run into "issues" of chipset (V.34 implementation)
- incompatibilities between modems of different vendors, and may never
- get any higher than 21.6 or 26.4 Kbps based on the modem installed in
- your computer. Your best bet is to check the manual for some specific
- settings regarding call negotiation, fall-forward/fall-back rates,
- etc.
